If there's ever a dog revolution, I have a feeling he'll be the leader.

Drive to Matanuska Glacier
I've officially got Cabin Fever. I return to work this Monday so before I head back, dad and I drove 98 miles one way to check out Matanuska Glacier.

Iditarod
Dad and I went to our secret spot along the greenbelt again to see the ceremonial start of the Iditarod in Anchorage. The race used to start from Anchorage and go the whole way to Nome but this was before all the people which lead to all the cars. They decided having the dogs run so close to all the cars and having to cross bridges along the way, this was no longer safe to do. They would not provide permits to close the roads for the event so Anchorage is now a ceremonial start with the actual timed start at 2:00 pm tomorrow in Willow.
