At night I went to the Mad Dog Rodeo Winter Series championships. It was a blast and later I went to a country bar and learned how to western swing dance from some of the best cowboys this side of the Mississippi. I love this place.

Weekend 1: Just getting started
So I had to travel the whole way to Oregon to experience Asian and African wildlife. Winston, OR has a fantastic Wildlife Safari with animals from Asia, Africa and the Americas. It has the most successful cheetah breeding programs in the U.S. and western hemisphere. It is a 4.5 mile loop with free wandering animals... proceed at your own risk.
