The main trails. I ascended with the White Dot and descended via the White Cross.
One of the first rock sections. Like I said, I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
View from "most" of the way up. I thought I was at or close to the top at this point. One hour later, I reached the actual top.
The fog kept getting thicker and thicker as I climbed up.
Again, I thought I was at the top. This one was at least flat. This mountain was way deceiving.
Following the White Dots. I can't imagine being the first one to ascend this mountain and think "hmmm, maybe I'll put a trail through here."
Its a tough life for a tree among this many rocks.
Almost at the top - but I've said that before. Oh and a tip: If someone is coming down the mountain, says "You're almost there", you're not.
The view from the top was completely fogged in so this is the first view of the landscape after the descent.
Apparently they were hosting MXC (Thanks TJ) on Mount Monadnock. :)
Coming down the White Cross trail - I like the natural cross on the left of the rock.
Yet another spectacular view - the pictures don't do it justice.
The descent was just as fun as climbing up!
Brave girl!
