Jernine, Jamie, Lindsey, Jakub, Steve and I took advantage of a gorgeous Alaska day to bike the
Bird to Gird Bike Trail which follows the Turnagain Arm. It runs from Indian, AK to Girdwood, AK but the nearby Bird Point makes for a better trail name, hence, Bird to Gird. It was more challenging than it should have been considering there is only a 300 foot elevation gain.

There was a black bear on the trail, but he only poked his head out slightly. No one was able to get a good picture. Lots of bear scat seen on the paved trail.
