Craig Creek Canoe Camping Trip

Now that I am up to date, Pete, Patrick, DenverDog and I took a 3 day weekend down to Craig County, VA to spend some quality time on the river and in our tents. Day 1 we took a short paddle from a ford down to their land - 6 miles. Day 2 we went form their land down to Oriskany - 12. Day 3 we went from New Castle, VA down to the ford where we put in the first day - 8. Total mileage: 26 miles. Pretty successful weekend with dodging raindrops on day 1 to soaking up the sun the rest of our weekend. I even got to have my first fire of the summer!
