This stop was very unexpected. Supposedly it is common to shut down Interstate 80 between Pine Bluffs/Cheyenne and Laramie, WY. The abrupt stop to our trip due to high winds and blizzard conditions landed us to an amazing motel called Gator's Travelyn Motel.
The girl at the front desk had the same number for her IQ as she did for her teeth.
It was an interesting experience that made us stay there from 12:30 pm March 23 to 8:30 am March 24. Our motel room included free snow service blowing through our air conditioner (that we obviously would need in March in Wyoming).
Amazingly, this place had WiFi so I was able to check on the never changing
closed conditions of the interstate. Enjoy the pictures, they only slightly capture the fun that was had by all.
