My labs were great again today and it let me get my last Herceptin and Perjeta infusion before my surgery. This helps to prevent any growth between now and June 25th. Once we find out pathology results, we determine our next steps and what types of infusion I may need. One step closer.

ReplyDeleteSomeone shared with me, when I said I wasn't comfortable wearing shorts because the scars on my ankle were so frankenstein and the ankle is so deformed looking, this phrase, "Never be afraid of a scar, it simply means you were stronger than what tried to hurt you." I don't know where they got the quote, but I am in shorts and Teva's too.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the day, when all this is a thin scar on your body that reminds you of your strength and a time when you discovered cool things about yourself, that some of us already knew or took for granted.
